At Sugar Land Specialty Ragdolls, we believe that every kitten deserves a loving home, and every family deserves a special companion. Our passion for Ragdolls comes from personal experience, and we are dedicated to raising healthy, affectionate, and well-socialized kittens that will bring joy for years to come.
Our Story
Animals have always been a part of my life. Over the years, I’ve had everything from dogs, birds, and rabbits to horses, guinea pigs, and even squirrels! But nothing could compare to the magic of Ragdolls—a breed that stole my heart the moment I met my son’s kitten, Luca.
My son, Trooper, was born with Neurofibromatosis, which affects his vision and comes with ADHD and anxiety. The first time he held Luca, something incredible happened—he instantly relaxed. Her soft fur, gentle purring, and affectionate nature created a sense of calm and comfort that I had never seen before.
That moment changed everything for me. I knew I had to share this breed with others. I spent months studying Ragdoll genetics, coat colors, and temperament traits. I even traveled to Florida to learn from an expert breeder. After all my research, I knew I wanted to raise these wonderful cats with love, care, and integrity.
